Just as we save one family in desperate need… Gill Jenness gets a call to save 2 more.
This time it is 2 tiny orphaned pups, dumped on the dangerous Romanian streets without their mother.
How can we leave them there!
How can we leave them there to starve and not be able to fend for themselves, leave them there with the chance of being hit by cars or picked up by the dog catchers and taken to the kill shelter to be tortured.
We hate asking again but we cannot do this without your help.
Please help us if you can… no amount is too little to help these babies.

This poor Mum called Mary has lived on her chain in Romania all her life. Sadly a common occurrence in this country.
She gave birth to her puppies still chained up… The owners wanted to throw the puppies in the river. Luckily a lovely woman helped them, and Pennypaws Rescue has had them transported to a safe shelter where they can be looked after and assessed.
But only if we can raise the £1000 needed to pay for three months in the shelter. Can you help us please – anything makes such a difference.

This is a video of some of the amazing Pennypaws dogs that have been rescued and are now living the dream in their new homes in the UK.
It’s so wonderful to see them finally safe, happy and loved. And it makes all the hard, desperate work of dog rescue worth it.

Pennypaws Rescue Romania to UK saved 5 more lives last night. A mum and 4 pups… due to be taken to the kill shelter over the weekend. That brings the total in one week to 10. Amazing work by Gill Jenness and her team at Pennypaws getting the dogs out of the kill shelter, off the streets and danger and transported to the safe CHR Shelter and hopfully onwards to a new life in a loving home.

Darcy is having his eye operation…
Darcy is at the vets, dropped off by his lovely foster mum this morning … turns out that poor Darcy needed entropion eye surgery.
We hope Darcy has a speedy recovery as he has a lovely adoption home waiting for him hopefully.
We will keep you all updated on his progress.
The cost for his surgery for Pennypaws to find is £550
