Dougie

  • Meet Dougie… He was adopted at 6 months old. A Pennypaws boy from Romania.
  • About Dougie –
  • Dougie has always been a beautiful loving boy. He is now 2.5 years old and 22kg. So why does he need a home?
  • Here is Dougie’s story:
  • Dougie was living harmoniously with his little doggie sister for over a year when something terrible happened. Dougie witnessed a random dog attack with his owner whilst out on a walk, which changed him from a happy go lucky confident dog to a very worried one
  • Dougie now protects his owner on walks by being reactive to other dogs. The owner isn’t able to handle this and also has found that age/health isn’t on her side and she can no longer care for a young dog
  • Dougie has been working with a trainer and is only protective of his owner – because of this incident.
  • Dougie is fine with his little sister doggie. He is not good with cats
  • Adoption fee and other details to be shared directly with each applicant that applies
  • Fully vaccinated and blood tested
  • Full RBU and support from Pennypaws Rescue

Boots

  • Lovely boy Boots!
  • DOB: Approx 2020
  • Saved from a dark barn with no light – we saved him and he is now able to roam for the first time, experiencing grass and learning to trust humans
  • 3 years of his life in darkness
  • Boots is understandably nervous but he is improving every day now
  • He is a lovely boy and deserves a home and a family to love him
  • Currently in our safe shelter in Romania

Scooby

  • NOW IN A UK FOSTER HOME – LANCASHIRE
  • Meet super cute Scooby!
  • Gender: Male | DOB: April 2026 | Size: Approx Small-medium when fully grown
  • Poor Scooby was found all alone crying and desperate for help
  • It will be hard to predict Scooby’s adult size for certain
  • Scooby was saved in Romania and is now a happy boy compared to how he was first found
  • He is the cutest, sweetest boy

  • Gender:Male/Size: Large when fully grown/DOB: Approx March/April 2026
  • Newly rescued – Teddy was found alone at the side of the road in Romania, in torrential rain
  • Teddy is now in our safe shelter in Romania
  • He is an absolute bundle of love, fun and happiness
  • He is great with other dogs
  • Teddy is CAT friendly
  • Teddy is too young to travel to the UK at the moment, but adoption can be in place ready for when he is old enough to travel
  • As Teddy was found completely alone, it will be difficult to predict his adult size

Meeko

  • Now in UK foster – In the Yorkshire area
  • Meet the marvellous Meeko!
  • Gender: Male | Size: Small-medium when fully grown | DOB: March 2026
  • Meeko is an absolute bundle of joy, finding his feet and settling into his foster home well
  • Meeko is one of Alba’s beautiful 4 puppies
  • They were born appropriately March 2026
  • Meeko was rescued in Romania after being dumped in the forest with his mum and siblings
  • All pups are happy, playful and loving
  • Meeko’s mum Alba is approx 10kg, dad is unknown so it will be hard to predict Meeko’s fully grown size
  • Fully vaccinated and blood tested

Scotty (Not ready to be homed in the UK yet)

  • ONLY EXPERIENCED ADOPTERS OR FOSTERERS WILL BE CONSIDERED

  • Extremely nervous of humans upon last visit but good with dogs
  • He needs further assessment in March 2026 when the team re visit Romania but we are looking for an experienced adopter to help Scotty learn what safety and love is.

Jake

  • Meet poor Jake!
  • Scared, beautiful Jake needs help!
  • Gender: Male | Size: Medium | DOB: Approx 2020
  • Experienced home for Jake is needed so he can decompress and rehabilitate
  • Jake was saved from the horrific kill shelter
  • Who knows what those evil humans did to make him so fearful
  • His tail tucked between his legs in fear is truly heartbreaking – we need to find somebody to help him make that tail wag
  • Jake is safe now, but to have any chance of finding a forever home, Jake needs an experienced foster to show him he is safe and teach him love
