Edward NOW ADOPTED x

  • EDWARD (EDDIE) – NOW ADOPTED x
  • Gender: Male | DOB 2021 | Size: Medium/17kg
  • Edward is a gentle, affectionate soul who has been nothing but good since arriving in the UK.
  • He is fully housetrained, copes well with being left for periods of up to four hours, and sleeps well at night (often with a calming radio). During the day, he enjoys settling on a bed beside you.
  • Eddie is a beautiful boy with the face of a shepherd and hints of corgi, and once he feels safe, he seeks out cuddles and gentle strokes.
  • Eddie can be cautious around new people, particularly men, but warms up quickly with patience and kindness.
  • He has not yet met children, but may suit a home with older, calm, dog-savvy children who understand giving space.
  • Eddie walks nicely on a harness and long lead, enjoying slow, scent-filled adventures. He does not react negatively to cars, though he can be nervous around larger vehicles such as vans or tractors, and may also be spooked by people, dogs, or larger animals like horses and deer (he is not cat tested). He will need continued support to continue building confidence.
  • Eddie enjoys natural and raw treats, though he is not yet familiar with many standard dog treats. He eats well, preferring wet food to dry, especially chicken, and has shown no guarding behaviours. He allows regular grooming, though he has not yet been bathed or water-tested.
  • In foster, Eddie lives happily with another smaller dog and would benefit from a home with a calm, friendly dog of a similar temperament to help show him the ropes. He has shown interest in the resident guinea pig but has not been reactive.
  • Eddie has a classic shepherd “voice” when he needs something and sees himself as a gentle protector of his family home.
  • Eddie would thrive in a quiet, patient household where he can continue to blossom at his own pace. He may be a sensitive boy, but for the right adopter, he will be a deeply loyal and loving companion.
  • Fully vaccinated, blood tested & neutered
  • Full RBU and support from Pennypaws Rescue
  • A homecheck will be required
  • Interested in adopting Edward?
  • Email: admin@pennypawsrescue.org.uk
  • Apply here: https://pennypawsrescue.org.uk/application-form

URGENT APPEAL FOR FOSTER HOMES – UK ONLY. PennyPaws Rescue Needs You – the Dogs need you x

URGENT APPEAL FOR FOSTER HOMES – UK ONLY PennyPaws Rescue Needs You

Right now, PennyPaws Rescue is facing a desperate situation.

So many of our beautiful, innocent dogs—mostly rescued from the harsh streets and shelters of Romania—are waiting for a safe place to land here in the UK. We are urgently seeking foster homes across the UK.

Without your help, these dogs remain stuck in kennels or unsafe conditions, with their futures hanging in the balance. Fostering saves lives. Full stop.

🌟 Why Foster?
Fostering is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have. You give a frightened or forgotten dog the chance to experience love, stability, and safety—often for the first time in their life. With your support, they begin to heal.

🌟 You’re Never Alone
You’ll receive full rescue back-up, along with support and guidance from a qualified expert in dog behaviour and rehabilitation. Whether you’re new to fostering or experienced, we’re with you every step of the way.

🌟 Why Romanian Dogs?
Dogs in Romania face unthinkable cruelty and neglect. Many are born on the streets or dumped in kill shelters. Without UK foster spaces, they remain trapped—unable to begin the journey to a forever home. By fostering, you are literally the bridge between rescue and a new life.

Please, open your heart and your home. Even a short-term foster placement can change everything for a dog in need. By fostering, you’re joining a network of international volunteers and charities working to reduce suffering, rehome responsibly, and educate about humane treatment of animals.

📩 Message us today or visit our page to find out how you can help. You won’t just save a dog’s life—you’ll change your own in the process. Email admin@pennypawsrescue.org.uk
