Pennypaws Rescue & 2GETHER4STRAYS Sterilisation Campaign to neuter and spay Romanian stray dogs 2024/2025

Husband and Wife Team – Leonie and Neil Morris talk about the sterilisation campaign for Romanian stray dogs

Pennypaws Rescue and 2GETHER4STRAYS Sterilisation Campaign 2024/2025

https://www.gofundme.com/f/gospayme-spaying-and-neutering-campaign-romania

Many of you will have seen the heartbreaking images and videos of Gill and Megan’s trip to Romania in May, where yet more unwanted puppies were discovered.

According to the Wild at Heart Foundation, without intervention, 1 female dog and her litter of puppies could result in 67,000 more homeless dogs living on the streets in just 6 years! Sterilisation remains the single most effective and compassionate method of controlling the growing stray dog population.

We are working 💪 towards a joint sterilisation campaign with 2gether4strays in May 2025. We will be promoting our Gofund Appeal in the Autumn. But you can make a donation at ANY time. Using the link provided.

Please help us with this campaign to neuter and spay morestray dogs in Romania:

A new animation about how to treat your new rescue dog when they arrive

A little Pennypaws Rescue animation about a rescue dog arriving at their foever home for the very first time. [SOUND ON]

Drawings and concept by Linda Crowhurst.

It’s hard to imagine how confused and tired these poor souls must be when they arrive from Romania, but it will be worth it. All they really need is calmness, time and space to decompress and begin to understand their new surroundings and routines. Just like Alf in the video…
